  • As one of the leading experts in the country on DEIB, holding a CHRO position twice, spending more than 25 years in human resources, business development, and executive leadership roles, and a military spouse of 27 years, Denise is focused on innovating and leading the Human Capital strategies and expanding the service lines to enhance FutureSense’s DEIB capabilities.

    Over the course of her career, Denise has supported a number of Fortune 500, publicly traded and high-profile organizations, including Walgreens, Ford Motor Credit Company, the financial arm of the Ford Motor Company; EDMC, under the Goldman Sachs umbrella; San Juan Regional Medical Center; and The University of Kansas Health System serving on a total of 8 executive teams. In addition to HR, she was responsible for employee health, occupational health, and urgent care with over 30k visits per year. While in higher education she provided HR leadership for 13 campus locations and Western State Law School in California. She currently serves on the Rockies Venture Club (RVC) Board.

    A lifelong learner, volunteer, and active member of her community, Denise has her doctorate in Organizational Leadership with her dissertation focusing on women at the executive level, a Master of Education in Human Resource Development, Organizational Learning, Performance and Change, and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication, with an emphasis on Rhetoric, Radio, and Sports Broadcasting. She completed the Harvard Business School Global Executive Education program, holds her SHRM-CP, PHR, D&I certificate from Cornell University, and Lean & Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Colorado State University.

    Denise was named one of Colorado’s Top 25 Most Powerful Women in Business by the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce (CWCC) and the recipient of a Stevie® Award for Women in Business, nominated in the Female Executive of the Year category. Denise continues to drive impact, promoting the use of standards for international organizations, and shaping the future of work for HR and DEIB professionals.
