The last thing you want is to feel bamboozled, caught off guard by jumping in with your eyes shut.  

When doing research into Becker’s article, “150 Top Places to Work in Healthcare in 2023”, various sources show many important concerns emerging regarding some of the hospitals and companies portrayed as examples of outstanding values. Complaints include severe understaffing, limited growth opportunities, an instance of negative net revenue, and employee dissatisfaction with compensation; unfortunately, these are common complaints identified. Employees expressed concerns about being stretched thin due to inadequate staffing levels, leading to increased work demands and potential burnout. Compensation issues, such as lower-than-average pay and limited/no work-life incentives, can also impact employee morale and job satisfaction.  

Negative net revenue contributes to job insecurity limited resources for working incentives, and sometimes it increases stress, which negatively impacts any working environment. Furthermore, some hospitals have faced financial losses or cybersecurity breaches, raising questions about their overall stability and ability to provide a secure working environment.
