  • Prior to starting BlueFire HR Consulting, she was the Vice President of Human Resources at the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).

    Stephanie served as Senior Executive Director of the American Hospital Association (AHA) Professional Services Team, overseeing six (6) professional healthcare societies. While at the AHA, Stephanie also held the title of Executive Director of The American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration (ASHHRA); she held this role from 2009 until her departure in 2014.

    Stephanie’s professional career has allowed her to become a seasoned practitioner and strategist in workforce topics, labor issues, CBAs/PSAs, talent and performance management, executive coaching, reduction-in-force, training, and various organizational initiatives. She has provided expert advice and insight to executive leaders with respect to organizational matters, workforce and labor issues, legislative issues, and wide-ranging human resource topics. Stephanie is certified in healthcare human resources (CHHR) and is a certified professional coach (CPC).

    Stephanie's client base is vast and includes healthcare institutions, non-profits, government entities, labor unions, large medical practices, professional services, education, technology/start-ups, public, private, and federally funded groups.

    Stephanie has given numerous presentations in a variety of settings and conferences, including the HealthcareSource UsersConference, Jones Day Labor Symposium, HIMSS, American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), professional chapters, labor and workforce conferences, American Society for Association Executives (ASAE) HealthcareConference, and National Workforce Boards. She has been selected to be an expert witness on a variety of national and international cases to include labor, employment, and workforce issues specific to healthcare and manufacturing.

    Stephanie graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Dayton and an Executive MBA from Thomas More College.
